They’ll take the best of the two

They will not add both score up?

From my experience it was a better of the two. They may add up the score now, what was your initial score?

Message me and we can chat more in depth about this topic! I wanna be able to give you more details

ok.

No, they do not add them together or try to make an average out of the two scores. With every standardized test, you only use the better of the two (or more) scores. Hope that helps!

Nobody seems to have answered this clearly. ACT treats the tests as separate instances and saves both. You can then send the scores, separately, to colleges. Different colleges have different policies for how they deal with improvements in score, but you should try to only send colleges the best score you got.
